STUDI LITERATUR REVIEW: BETA AMYLOID PADA PENDERITA ALZHEIMER

Abstract


Latar belakang: Beta amyloid dipercaya memainkan peran penting dalam patogenesis penyakit alzheimer yang ditandai dengan penumpukan beta amyloid pada otak penderita alzheimer. Namun, peran beta amyloid terhadap terjadinya penyakit alzheimer masih belum jelas. Tujuan: Lieratur reiview ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran beta amyloid dalam patogenesis penyakit alzheimer. Metode: Studi literatur menggunakan data berupa artikel ilmiah tahun 2010 sampai 2020 dan berbahasa inggris. Data didapat dari database meliputi PubMed, researchgate, ScienceDirect, NCBI, Jamanetwork, intechopen dan nature, dengan kata kunci amyloid beta dan alzheimer’s disease. Hasil: Didapatkan tiga belas artikel ilmiah terkait beta amyloid dan penyakit alzheimer yang terdiri dari lima laporan penelitian dan delapan tinjauan pustaka. Saran: Penelitian terkait neurotoksisitas akibat beta amyloid pada masa mendatang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu memahami dan pemberian tatalaksana bagi penyakit alzheimer.
